I was born on January 8, 1970 in Milan, the city where I live  and I work.
A burning passion for both comics and drawing has always belonged to me
and, in 1986, I started dating  the illustration and comics course of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan.
Shortly after, thanks to Pasquale Del Vecchio, I enter
in contact with Carlo Ambrosini, Giampiero Casertano and Enea Riboldi (Studio Comix), from whom I receive  encouragement and valuable advice.
The first professional assignment takes place with the science fiction magazine " Cyborg ", published by Star Comics since 1990, first with some illustrations and then with a story of 50 tables, entitled " Tenebra " and written by Michele Masiero, but only published years later, in the new course of the magazine published by the Telemaco publishing house.

A first turning point in his career came in 1990, when, after having made test boards for the new magazine dedicated to Ken Parker  (the " Ken Parker magazine "), I come  called by Ivo Milazzo to his studio in Chiavari to start what will prove to be a long and fruitful collaboration.
The years spent in the Milazzo studio
are, for me,  a profound professional experience  of growth and learning, thanks to the numerous,  careful and punctual teachings of the  two famous authors of KP.
The magazine, originally published by Parker Editore, is taken over
in 1994  by Sergio Bonelli Editore, the publishing house that first published KP's stories  in 1977.
Here, after the definitive closure of the
KPmagazine, I am involved in the project of " Magico Vento " (1997), the western / horror series created by Gianfranco Manfredi which marked a new stage of the western comic adventure.

I adhere to the new initiative with a lot of participation, and, among the many authors who have expressed themselves in the series, I have been one of the most active, making a total of 14 albums and covers from number 32 to 75 in seven years of intense collaboration, contributing, with some stories in particular, to define the character and the world of Manfredi's character.

The  work carried out in those years was greatly appreciated by Sergio Bonelli and Decio Canzio, so much so that in 2005 they decided to  trust me  the demanding task of designing one of Tex's prestigious specials  (the so-called texons).
The story, scripted by Mauro Boselli, was published in June 2009 with the title of " Patagonia ".
The volume is warmly received by both readers of the famous ranger's adventures and specialized critics, and is awarded with
the Gran Guinigi at the 2009 edition of Lucca Comics & Games.
Later
to be part of the staff of permanent designers who realizes the "Tex" series, granting me  a colorful digression into the world of Dylan Dog  thanks to the realization, in 2010, of the episode " Il grido muto ", contained in the " Dylan Dog Color Fest " n.5.

In 2011  I contribute  to the comic project " 150 - Stories of Italy "  with the episode entitled " Il Postino ".
Written by Francesco Artibani and created by names of the caliber of Sergio Toppi, Ivo Milazzo (who was also the coordinator), Giorgio Cavazzano, Carlo Ambrosini, Corrado Mastantuono and Marco Nizzoli, the work was published in two volumes in the first months of 2011 by the San Paolo editions in collaboration with the MUF, the Lucca Comics Museum.

In 2013 mine came out  Tex's first story on the regular series, also written by Mauro Boselli, entitled " The secret of Judge Bean ".
In 2016 my register is published
in n. 47 of the series " Le Storie ", entitled " Blood and ice ", based on a screenplay by Tito Faraci.
In 2017 a
short history of Tex in the 12th issue of the " Color Tex " series.

In 2018 the two stories I made on texts by Maurizio Colombo for the miniseries " Deadwood Dick " come out, then collected in a hardcover volume in 2019.
